  Newsletter Issue 6, September - October 2011

The sixth newsletter introduces the industry declaration initiated at the National Launch Event and presents key findings and conclusions from the Pilot SMEs Assessment Programme.
An interview with the Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Beijing offers interesting insights into the project's potential for facilitating sustainability and business partnerships. In addition the newsletter provides an update on China RoHS and a description of relevant key concepts and project experts.

  Newsletter Issue 4, December 2010 – January 2011

This issue covers the implemented Regional Launch Events and includes a related interview with Changhong Electronics. Furthermore the sustainable procurement practices of Deutsche Telekom are described and the newly launched e-learning platform is introduced in detail. In addition insights are provided on how the project explored latest policy trends and synergies in the field of CSR.

  Standards Guidelines, October 2009

The Standards Guidelines provide enterprises, policy makers and other stakeholders with a valuable reference base on national, regional and international laws, regulations and standards relevant to the environmental and safety performance of the electrical and electronics industry.

In addition, readers are introduced to best practices and case studies of compliance with and adaptation to these laws, regulations and standards by electrical and electronics enterprises in developed countries. By comparing Chinese electrical and electronics SMEs in terms of environmental and safety performance and analyzing their shortages, the Standards Guidelines represent an effective roadmap for improving eco-efficiency, occupational health and safety and corporate social responsibility measures of SMEs in the electrical and electronics industry in China.
