Alexandra Voss is responsible for overall strategic design, planning and implementation of the project. In particular, Ms. Voss leads the project’s Policy Advisory Committee and supervises the liaison with project partners and associate Deutsche Telekom. Since April 2011 Alexandra Voss is the Delegate and Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Beijing and the Executive Director and Member of the Board of the German Chamber of Commerce in China.
Alexandra Voss graduated from the University of Cologne in regional studies on China and also studied Chinese and journalism at Sichuan University. In 1999 she joined the Federation of German Industry (BDI) and the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA) as China Representative. From 2001 Ms. Voss worked for the German development organisation Sequa as EU Programme Coordinator and Project Manager, before joining the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Guangzhou as Delegate and Chief Representative in 2006.
Igor Darbo oversees the management of the joint European-Chinese team and cooperation mechanism between the project partners, associates, experts and relevant stakeholders. His main responsibilities at the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Beijing include coordinating the development of the project's training and assessment programme for SMEs, organising high-level events in China and abroad as well as liaising with the EU and the SCP Helpdesk.
Mr. Darbo holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Public Administration from the Institute of Political Science in Paris. Prior to joining the SWITCH-Asia Project, he worked at the EU-China Information Society Project to coordinate the management of IT pilot projects in six Chinese cities. Mr. Darbo also has extensive experience in leading projects in the energy and environment sectors.
Bernhard Felizeter is mainly responsible for liaising with the EU and other European stakeholders and for facilitating project implementation and visibility.
Bernhard holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Business with studies at the University of Innsbruck and the University of Technology in Sydney. Prior to joining the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Beijing in 2008, Bernhard worked for a European consulting and trading firm in Guangzhou, where he
managed several projects in the area of business development and marketing for private sector clients. His practical experience includes working at the commercial section of the Austrian Embassy in Singapore and a key account management assignment for a governmental organisation in Berlin.
Xueying Wang is responsible for coordinating with Chinese project partners and ensuring the effective communication within the multinational project team. She also assists the monitoring of project implementation and milestones, facilitates the cooperation between working groups, composes promotional materials and supports events organisation. Xueying Wang holds a Master’s degree in Waste Management Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from RWTH Aachen University.
Prior to joining the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Beijing, she worked as project developer and sales engineer in the Chinese waste incineration (WtE) sector. Ms. Wang had also worked at Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH in Germany, where her responsibilities focused on recycling process optimization and quality control.
