As part of a comprehensive scaling up and sustainability strategy, the project is developing an e-learning platform for SMEs of the electrical and electronics industry of China. Structured around a preliminary self-assessment, the platform will include training modules on eco-efficiency, OHS and CSR designed to address the needs of Chinese SMEs which are striving to improve the sustainability of their production processes. This on-line tool is built to provide enterprises with technical reference documents and an interactive learning interface.

On the occasion of pilot SMEs training workshops held in April 2010, video footage has been captured of the experts’ presentations on topics such as the resource efficiency regulatory framework, eco-design, an eco-efficiency toolbox, OHS & CSR management. The project team is currently editing the film material into a series of video clips.
